ProBX Advisor Network

Successful business transitions require more than a listing. ProBX.ca — Professional Business Exchange — intends to build a multidisciplinary professional network — business brokers, commercial REALTORS®, M&A lawyers, accountants, lenders, valuation professionals, franchise advisors, transition advisors and other qualified professionals — to help owners and buyers prepare, finance, negotiate, close and transition a business.

Early Access The network is accepting expressions of interest from qualified professionals; the directory currently lists founding participants only.

How the Advisor Network works

1

Identify the need

A seller, buyer, broker, or ProBX advisor identifies a transition need such as valuation, tax planning, financing, due diligence, legal review, real estate, or post-closing integration.

2

Find suitable advisors

Participants can look for advisors by discipline, province, industry experience and transaction type. Choosing an advisor is the participant's own decision; ProBX does not recommend or endorse any advisor.

3

Coordinate the transition

Advisors work within their professional scope to support preparation, negotiation, due diligence, closing, and transition planning.

Advisor disciplines

Every transition draws on multiple professional disciplines. Participating advisors cover the full lifecycle of a Canadian business transaction.

Professional-capacity disclosure

Michael Hwang serves in distinct professional capacities with ProBX, REMAX Commercial Advantage and Coal Harbour Law. Participation in ProBX or contact through this directory does not, by itself, create a solicitor-client relationship, agency relationship or professional engagement. Legal services are provided only under a separate retainer through Coal Harbour Law, and licensed real estate services are provided through REMAX Commercial Advantage. Potential conflicts and the capacity in which Michael may act will be identified and addressed before an engagement is accepted.

Advisor directory

Filter participating advisors by discipline, province, industry experience, transaction role, language, and billing model.

Advisor billing models vary by discipline, engagement, licensing, professional obligations, and written agreement. Some advisors may charge hourly or fixed fees, while others may be permitted to charge commissions, success fees, lender fees, or blended fees. ProBX does not determine an advisor's professional obligations. Each advisor is responsible for confirming their own compensation model, disclosures, conflicts checks, licensing requirements, and client authorization.
A public directory listing does not grant an advisor access to buyer, seller, business, match, document, or transaction records. Confidential access must be matter-specific, limited to the advisor's authorized role, and supported by an active representation agreement, express client authorization, or a narrowly scoped ProBX administrative assignment. Access ends when that authority expires or is revoked.

1 consented advisor profile shown. Additional advisors will appear only after consent and profile review. No advisor pays for directory position; profiles are shown in order of consent and review.

Any commission, success fee, referral fee, advisor participation fee, platform fee, or professional fee arrangement must comply with applicable law, licensing requirements, brokerage requirements, professional conduct rules, client authorization, disclosure obligations, and written agreement.
