Buy with a plan, not a search box.
ProBX.ca — Professional Business Exchange — is building a buyer experience based on readiness and a structured acquisition profile, so that confidential opportunities can be compared against what you are actually looking for.
The buyer profile and readiness self-assessment are available now to signed-in participants. Not ready for an account? Use "I'm Looking to Buy" to register early interest; this does not qualify or pre-screen a buyer.
Watch: Introduction for Buyers
Buyer Readiness
Available nowBuyer Readiness is a self-assessment of how prepared you are to complete an acquisition: capital and financing position, relevant experience, decision-making authority, timing and clarity of objectives.
Why a structured profile helps
- Sellers and advisors can see that an enquiry comes from a prepared, structured buyer rather than an anonymous message.
- Your criteria are recorded once and kept private, ready for future matching rather than repeated in every conversation.
- Readiness highlights the gaps — financing, experience, timing — that a seller or lender will ask about.
Readiness reflects how complete your profile is against ProBX's preparation checklist. It is not a valuation, a financing decision, or a statement that you, a business, or a transaction is qualified, suitable, approved, or likely to succeed. You can change any answer at any time.
How is this calculated?
Each of the following checklist items contributes a fixed number of points when it is completed: buyer type; industry or business type; preferred location; investment range; available equity; financing status; acquisition timeline; desired involvement; transition preference; Buyer Code of Conduct; proof-of-funds indication. The calculation is a fixed rule set; no artificial intelligence is involved. Think this is wrong?

- acquisition objectives
Matching will not replace professional judgment, due diligence or independent legal, accounting, tax or financial advice. Read about matching.
