Mike Lenz, MCBI, is a Managing Partner with Chinook Business Advisory in Victoria, British Columbia, and also serves as a Managing Partner with Breakwater M&A. A business intermediary since 2005, Mike brings substantial firsthand entrepreneurial experience, having founded two companies and acquired three others, including a Toronto printing business that he grew to more than $5 million in annual sales. Mike has completed more than 150 business sales and advises business owners and buyers on valuation, business sales, mergers and acquisitions, and succession and exit planning. He holds the Master Certified Business Intermediary (MCBI) designation from the International Business Brokers Association and serves as President of IBBA Canada. Mike is also co-author of *Getting to the Finish Line*, a guide for business owners preparing for an eventual sale. His approach emphasizes clear communication, disciplined transaction management and an understanding that selling a business is both a financial transaction and an important personal transition for the owner.
